It's hard to hear that sadness in your voice, man. I can only try to imagine what it feels like to go through that. Hopefully in the not too distant future the sadness with be nothing but a fading memory. Thanks for the update. It's good to see at least everything was able to be repaired.

Yeah, that video was from last week, they messed some stuff up and had to redo a bunch of stuff on all three floors, but they supposedly finished today, I still have to go inspect to make sure LOL. You and Jay are always right on time! Feelin tha love!

I got to tell you - the basement is coming along nicely. It is super clean and will be a decent starting point for your Nerd-Cave. Are you planning on keeping the walls white? White looks too "virginal" for you. Ahahahahaha. Although it may appear there is a lot of work to do, it will steam roll on you and before you know it, the basement is EXACTLY how you want it to be. Keep it up m'man.

I really wanted to paint it while I can, but between the lack of time (not to mention the $, only the bathroom went through insurance) I gave up on the idea. Considering most of the walls will be covered again, figured it wasn't worth the hassle. My new shelves and media center start arriving tomorrow, so hopefully I can make a dent this weekend.

The Marvel Select version was a Disney Store exclusive. I have it, and frankly other than being surprisingly small, it and less articulated, I kinda prefer it's look and paint over this bulky ML. Also, budget's been quite tight of late, so I'm prioritizing other figs that are more important to me. Also, this comes with a hefty price tag. I have several Hulkbusters in my collection already. The movie version, the Mafex movie version which I acquired a long time ago. I realized that it's actually quite a nice fig with articulated fingers, and is compatible with the 7 in Marvel Select line. I have both the movie and the immortal Hulks, so he fits in quite well. I just don't see why I need to spend so much for a new Hulkbuster for now. Maybe later if this is still available at a sale price.😊

I didn't realize there was a MAFEX version, is it BOSS? I have never seen the Select version in person, but didn't fancy the online pics, does it look better in person?

@@GeekHangOver There was one. I like Marvel Select figs, because of their detail and the Age of Ultron version was very nicely done. Around that time I watched KZbin reviews of the Mafex movie Hulkbuster and it scaled better with 7 inch figures. I got one from eBay and it is actually great. It is all plastic though, so it's not as good as the S. H. Figuarts version which I missed and went for ridiculously insane prices on the secondary market. If you search KZbin you can still see some reviews of the fig. It's not for everyone, but it's the best Hulkbuster in my personal collection to date in terms of sculpt, paint, detail and articulation. Fingers are articulated. I kept it in the box for awhile and I was planning to sell it to get this new Hulkbuster, but as soon as I saw it, I just realized how much better it is compared to the Marvel Legends. I would be insane to let go of it.

Geek - I pray that you and your family are safe after Helene. I'm old school. This isn't "Strange Tales" it is more "Marvel Knights 2". Strange Tales has a whole different meaning to me, and unfortunately this wave isn't it. Give that Dr. Strange/Wong 2-pack and include Baron Mordo, Nightmare, Umar, Wizard and Trapster into a wave and you got me by my sensitives. Storm is a disgrace for 2024. Wolverine on that old buck cannot justify the asking price. Dracula is the only figure out of the three that has got me interested. Thanks for the review man. Keep safe.

I'm a sucker for this wave. I know there's a ton of reuse throughout. I know most of it is lazy. But I want this whole wave with the exception of the Moon Knight which I will get anyway for the Blackheart part. I don't have the old brown suit Wolvie so that doesn't bother me as much. Dracula looks great. Got a few of these on the way now. I probably shouldn't be, but I'm still pumped.
