good morning. Forget about it. 2024 beans @ 10'00 (if farmers are lucky), and @ 9'00 on K25 (may/25). i am sorry. That's an academic fact. (I am a former Ag Economy Professor and Researcher, today I run my investment fund and trading office).

Hi there. As I mentioned a few weeks ago (maybe months, I don’t recall), forget about weather for Brazil soybeans. Brazil will plant a huge crop, maybe a new record for soybeans. The problem regarding soybean planting delays is not a problem on soybeans per se. It is a problem for the Brazillian Safrinha (2nd crop that comes right after soybeans). So we could turn our attention to the corn market, not waste time discussing soybeans, trying to come with “facts” that are just not real. Therefore, again, forget about soybean planting problems. It does not exist. With no increase on demand? I don’t mean to be one of the Four Knights of the Apocalypse, but the question I would like to leave is the following: With surplus stock at of around 30% (last USDA report), how about USA harvesting 125MMT this year, and Brazil coming with around 10% to 15% more soybean next year? How about that????????? Again, please forgive my English, it is not my native language. 4 Responder

The global live cattle population amounted to about 1.55 billion head in 2022, up from approximately 1.51 million in 2021. Old news, sure, but, hey, why don't we pay attention to the world?

The 4 main packer took advantage of the producer for so long many of the cow calf producer's tryiny pay some debt while they got some pay for their efforts. I fear the cattle production will go the way the chicken's hog's Turkey's. I have see many poltry farmer cut off an now suffer because of corporate farming , thats a shame an a fact

Cattle herds will never rebound for two reasons 1) The cattle business is an old mans business and the old men are retiring. 2) There is not enough money in the cattle business to attract young cattlemen.

These lofty prices forcattle would be good if inflation didn't eat up the difference. Plus the previous years were tight.

Just to inform you, we are currently NOT having a "strike," it is a LOCK-out by the employer. A strike notice has now been made today, Friday for strike in 72 hours. Blame the Billionaire Oligarchs squeezing profits from any "soul" they can sucker.

The perfect storm in ag is on the horizon High inflation , High interest, high input cost ,, low commodity prices ,It's the 80's all over again. I believe your seeing the ag industry sector making adjustments now with more in the future ( layoffs in particular). Next five years left of the decade only the most efficient producuers will fare out. Land will be the last to make adjustments ( but certainly will lose value.

I just looked up the values for beef compared to 2023: imports are up 11.9%, exports are down 7.2%, ending stocks are down 8.3 %. So Ending Stocks should still decline more?

We get to the point they have to label that imported beef and that market is over. They're just taking advantage of it as long as they can because they know it's about to come to an end.

Thank you for a very interesting interview and a special gratitude to Senator Brewer for support of Ukraine💙💙💛💛 As a Ukrainian from Dnipro region I would like to add a 2024 update: Ukrainian farmers are true heroes without exaggeration. So many of them have been killed running combiners over a mine launched by russians or demining their fields. And the number is growing. They work in bulletproof vests but it doesn't help much. Because of constant shelling our wonderful fertile land is contaminated and under stress thus the volume of crops is dropping with every year. They cannot work the land and pick up crops like they used to do, they do it between shellings and during the attack they hide in trenches if they make it there in time. And it's not once or twice a day. Many farms have problems with irrigation due to shelling and they have to manually water their land. There's also a lack of work hands due to war. But they are not concentrated on their own troubles and share the small amount of seeds they have with farmers from liberated territories in Kherson and Zaporizhzhya regions because they suffer even more.
