Kenny is an old buddy of mine. I met him when he was 17 and I was 18. The 1st time I went to his parents home, half the garage was packed with his tools. He loves Carpentry work, a top notch Carpenter, and my stories of our years Framing are endless. He also had the nicest parents, whom unfortunately have passed but they would certainly be proud of him.

Fair enough, stone lasts way longer and it often looks better. Some counter arguments: - When it rains, stone is usually more slippery than concrete; - Most of the downsides you listed are only relevant when applying fresh concrete on site. Why not use a premade concrete slate, already dried (making a basic rectangular mould shouldn't be that hard or costly); - Concrete is easier to shape.

I'd love to hear how stone compares to brick for applications like walkways

We will probably make a video of the different options in the near future. I think it's a topic that many people want information about. Stay tuned!

Your content is excellent. I was really surprised when I saw only 234 subs and this video having 10 views. I was like "Wait, what the fuck?" That ain't right. But hey, lots of people will eat this up. Keep uploading and KZbin's algorithms will reward thee. PS. Glad you mentioned Mike Hadduck's video. I was thinking about it as you were talking. You would love Leon Krier.

Levi, Thank you for your kind words. It means a lot to me as we start off on this KZbin adventure! Mike Haduck is a realist mason! He tells us the reality component of masonry. I need many more subscribers, so I will be pushing content out weekly. Stay tuned and hit the notification bell! PS I just bought Leon Krier's book after I saw your comment.

I have watched a few of your videos. Today at work I asked Morgan if you had made any more videos. She told me you had just made one on why you are uploading this kind of content and that I should check it out. Now I must state that I decided to watch more of your videos after I saw you get excited about the brackets that were holding up the metal floor in the garage in one of your previous videos. The craftsman took the time to make a few extra cuts to a simple bracket in order to enhance the look and by doing this it made the metal floor look as though it belonged there. I enjoyed this video. Many of the things you said resonated with me. I look forward to seeing more of your content in the future.
