This animation reminded me of another fight Goku had that went something like this. You should react to Goku vs. Sonic by KAD Productions. It is more of a comic with a quicker run time that follows blow for blow like in Goku vs. Saitama.

At 43:50, "How he picked up all that trash?" The answer is the trash was thrown into the river by human pollution. Studio Ghibli movies often have a strong environmental message. Also, contrast the run across the falling pipe at 50:00 with the timid descent of the stairway at the beginning. Chihiro has already grown quite a bit.

36:35 ‘ You introduce a form and it loses? ‘ That’s sorta been the trend with dragon ball transformations. Goku may have ‘won’ against Frieza, but Trunks needed to finish him off later. Super Saiyan 2 Gohan DID kill Cell, but he needed Goku to sacrifice himself for it. So he needed another chance to win. Super Saiyan 3 Goku didn’t win any fights, nor did God. Goku also didn’t win against Jiren with UI. It’s an ongoing trend that new forms don’t win their fights.

You are not wrong at all! But I really think that Vegeta really needs a W in a fight. He hasn't won a fight in a while. I think his last W was Toppo from top, I wouldn't really count Moro cause he wasn't finished off he ran away. You can still show the flaws of UE to show the reader that Vegeta can still grow, him winning the fight would show Granolah that just because you wished to be the strongest won't always mean that you will win. Especially with someone that has more experience than you and a lot of room to grow. Especially how connected Granolah is to the saiyans. That's my reasoning on why I think Vegeta should of won that fight.

@@jacobgio9008 I think Granolah winning that fight also works, since it shows that Ultra Ego is an incomplete form currently. Vegeta did what he criticised Frieza of ( granted he had no choice ), and ran in without perfecting and understanding the form. So he abused it FAR past the point he should've, and lost because of it. It circles back around to how he was trying to FORCE back his Saiyan Saga mindset. It's why he told Goku he'd rather die than fight together, and etc. It all makes sense when you keep in mind that he's trying to be something that he's not. That's also what Goku does, until he uses UI Sign with his emotions. They're both parallel in their development. So yeah, I'm fine with Vegeta losing that fight. It makes sense.

@@monotonesammy hhhhmmmmm I didn't really think about that. but that would show that they are regressing the character if it's that way. throwing away his current self would contradict what he said to Toppo in the top when toppo gave up justice for the G.O.D power. You could say he let the bloodlust take over his mind but again I would say that it would regress the character because he already went through that when babidi took over his mind. I still think he should have won since he was growing in that fight as well but it should have been barely since he is still learning how to use the power which in on itself is not new for him to learn a new power. Granohla's second eye should of been unlocked when he either was fighting Gas or was aiming the blast at him during the team effort. Which would of made what Vegeta said to him in their fight. "you may be the strongest now but what about 5 minutes from now" I think that would have been more dope.

Granolah is a great character with a great design. The new forms are fun. The fights are amazing to look at. The Heeters werent deep developed villains but they served their purpose well enough. The Frieza bombshell at the end was really fucking cool. My only real complaint about this Arc is Bardock. (At the very least Bardocks fight was still cool to look at.) Everything else is quite superb.

Nah, Granolah wasn't smart in the bigening. You're the strongest in the universe. The heaters should answer to you not the other way around, and you had no business telling them how you got that powerful. Yes, the forms are cool, but it does not make the entire arc good if the writing is not good. And yes, Frieza was the best thing in this arc.

@@jacobgio9008 Yeah somebody clearly didnt pay attention to the start as the comment above me already mentioned. The Heeters didnt pride themselves on strength. They believe information is power. If Granolah threatens to kill them what does that accomplish exactly? They still have no reason to give the information to him. If he kills them his best chance at finding Frieza is gone. Its all pretty obvious.

Sorry for being late, to give context about this episode the opponent they are facing is Andre. Andre is the founder of RHG or Rock Hard Gladiators which was a competition where people who found each other had to fight. The air bender Arzon that helps Gildedguy was also on this competition. Andre was destroying the collisseum to end the RHG has sport because lots of his friend died in the middle of thie sport or got badly injured which lead to alot of suffering. Thats why he is destroying the collisseum in the first place to fix the mistake he did of create this sport and the part where he stabs Gidledguy hut he gets a skull appearance is theorized that he was already dead and just trying to end the RHG history has a ghost of the past.

to put in perspective how traumatizing this was for Gildedguy: Bog is made of ACID. And said acid literally entered his body and went up hs blood vessels on the way to the brain, on top of having filled a big part of the armor... its probably the worst pain Gilded will ever know in his entire life.

The black swordsman, Mar, is the character of a moderator from Hyun's dojo that got banned from the community in 2020. I don't have all the details but it was a pretty gut-wrenching story. Mar coudn't suppress his dark side, let the monster inside him free and did terrible things, destroying everything he had built himself. Then his remorse and disgust at himself led him to realise he couldn't turn back, that no matter what he would do, people would still see the monster inside him and judge him for it. So in the end he gave up, embraced the beast and got destroyed with it. I like how he's portrayed here, because Mar ended up being almost a "self-insert" of his creator. Someone a bit cold but polite, ready to help people without asking anything in return... Which turned into a monster because of his own dark thoughts and greed, was banned from the community he had helped build and left the internet scene completely. He went as far as to remove every bit of content he had ever created, basically removing all traces of him from internet and the animator's community. He helped a couple animators with their work after that, and everytime he never asked any compensation and even asked to not be mentioned in the credits, he's too ashamed of his actions to ever want to appear again.

@@ng343 It's impossible to tell everything that transpired in a single post answer, so I'll make it as short as I can: Harassement of female members of the community, some of them being minors, using his position as a moderator. He suffered from his loneliness in life and got so desperate to find someone his politeness and kindness got shoved away. He got bitter, drunk on his position in the community and in the end the situation escalated to the point of no-return. He was permanently banned from the dojo and vanished from the internet completely.

My idea is that he didn’t want to be with the dragon but he thought that he already did all those things and didn’t even try to stop it so he thought everyone would see him as a monster and there was no point in changing since all that he did was unforgivable and that he saw the dragon as an extension of himself and his greed that he wants to hide from others, or something
