Vietnam is a whole other country now. I've been there many times. We are allies and they have Most Favored Nation status with the U.S. I am friends with a lot of the Vietnamese community in Houston, Texas. They are wonderful people and the most patriotic Americans I have ever known.

What a tragic horrible mess. I was a young army doctor in Vietnam and 6768. What a terrible waste of American lives. Why the hell did we ever go there and once there the war was micromanaged. Stupid and terrible.

I’m not sure if this commentary is insightful or idiotic. She doesn’t mention the big black hole or the fact that none of the daughters married; and two of them committed suicide. This is thought to be Singer Sargent’s deepest psychological painting. Yet none of that is mentioned.

My father and two of his friend ,they had an upi-press dokument and was in Saigon as the last american staff was evacuated from the embassy...He was saved,because he comes with the viatcong to Saigon...But it's was totaly confusing and Chaos ,panik...! He don't talk about this time,if i asked him was happend ...!!!He make a lot of photo from his 3 visiting betwen 1972 and 1975..!
