was the gear selector too far back because of the trans adapter? would this problem still occur if you were to use an r154 for example since they are factory transmissions to jz engines?

Yeah but managed to get it too work in the end , think the r154 fits much easier

300 comes with a 2J, doesnt need a swap 😅

Its actually a IS200 with a 2L 1GFE so it was swapped to be a IS300
