Tried it, played for 10+ hours, didn't care for it, dropped it. Even Cisco's Fantasy with the ring of 7 curses has more balance than this. Balance isn't this mod's strong suit. Enemies (like the Bloodborne rip-off enemy) can spawn in any part of the world, and they are basically an unfair death in the early game. Actually, most enemies are just unbalanced. They don't scale with the player progression. They tried to take the souls-like combat and apply it here, but it just doesn't work due to the lack of weapon range, lack of enemy stamina, and clunkiness of the implementation. To the developers: Leave Souls combat in the Souls games, Minecraft is too simple in design. Go play one of the many other mods if you want a balanced Minecraft experience, or just go play Dark Souls 3 for fucks sake.
