Nice drone work. I went there about 7 years ago and driving into the caldera is like driving into a different world, like driving back through the geological ages. Hope the emus didn't steal your lunch.

Wind farms are a sight for sore eyes
@oldmanadventures19633 ай бұрын
I don't necessarily have an issue with "green" solutions but if we have to cut trees down to put up wind towers it would seem to me to defeat the whole purpose given how we measure the carbon absorption of a large tree, which out weights the contamination in the materials used to build a wind tower which are only good when the wind blows.

We are told that African people live in mud and bamboo huts especially in rural villages. But here in this village we can see beautiful well-built concrete houses. Very inspiring as well as informative video. Is this really a typically real village or just a selected one?Many a u tuber call a big town of thousands of inhabitants a village. Thanks and cheers from India for sharing the video. More of truly agriculture-based villages please!

This little village is a few kilometers away from a much larger settlement but the whole area is dotted with little villages. Very gentle people who live a good but tough life. I'm glad you enjoyed it

You say nothing about the costs of gasoline and nothing about the costs of anything
@oldmanadventures19635 ай бұрын
Thanks Charles, not listing the cost of fuel was deliberate, as it changes so much its only relevant at the time of filming, as I was only moving around via, TroTro,Taxi and motorbike and all trips varied its is impossible to give a guide for cost for any length of trip other than to say its inexpensive relative to Western prices.

Ya can't be that old riding a motor cycle!! but then again ya never to old... great drone shots. I want to get a drone without a phone, hate phones, any ideas? I have an old flip-phone! Way back in the 60's I had a 350 MV Augusta, when I was over in Britian, horse riding/fox hunting, used to get into all sorts of trouble... since then I've never owned another, borrowed a few. I'm into comfort now. I remember getting so cold riding me MV, that I had to be lifted off the bike in a petrol station, crazy ... but you'd know about that down in Vic. The old bloke in SE QLD my channel: ue&co all lower case no dots or dashes.
