it's fun to hear perspectives from people that didnt jive with void stranger! it's a good reminder of why the steam store page drastically undersells it. it doesn't allude to any of the wild ass things that would normally be the reasons it gets recommended. the trailer footage censors the floor numbers and doesn't even show the main mechanic of the game at all. it's a game for basic turn based block pushing fans, and everything else is bonus. to play the game strictly for its story or its mysteries is to have a miserable time. its most diehard fans COULD urge you to keep playing and explain everything that sidesteps the issues you had, but that takes away from the experience and discovery of it all. overall, i hope that everyone that bounces off of void stranger just sets it down and forgets it, rather than forcing themselves through it or satisfying curiosity via videos.
