She is so sweet and gorgeous. Walters on the other hand is a bloodhound and so vicious.

She’s put so much of her voice into the world, I hope she found peace in the fact that there are many years of material that she has given the world for when people need to here her voice. Also there’s something wrong with Barbara, she’s cruel with all these questions and how she asks them. Lady Julie Andrew is a wonderful example of how to handle mean people.

This interviewer seems like she is interrogating Andrews in court or in a police room. What a disgraceful behaviour. This wonderful human has gone through serious emotional trauma and she is just poking at the wound

I’m sorry, but Barbara Walters’s manners are atrocious. She’s so intrusive and frankly just plain mean. Why does she think that it is ok to ask a person who has made a career from doing exactly what she loves to do “singing”, if she will ever sing again? I’m a trained classical singer myself, who can no longer sing the way I used because of some medical issues and when people ask me why do I not sing anymore, it breaks my heart and deepens the hole in my soul. I know that one day I’ll get to sing again, but until then I hope people will stop asking me questions about my music. I’ll never lose hope. ♥️

She was probably so happy to do the song in Princess Diaries 2. It's not near the level she used to be but she once thought she could never sing again.

Here I am in 2024! As a millennial, I feel bitter about Julie’s vocal surgery. Yet I’m happy she found new success in the 21st Century. And the warmth in her speaking voice is still good enough! RIP Barbara!

Oh my goodness. She probably always had that nodule or benign lump on her voicebox and that lump made her beautiful voice. It was a lump that didn't need removing. Lots of people have them and they are no harm.

I only shed a single tear this entire thing but then seeing the way she was hurt when she was asked what she would do if she never could sing again I was about to lose it then “and I’ll sing once more” played and I sobbed. Julie Andrews was and is a very big part of my life and I still cry every time I watch her sing in the Princess Diaries

So hard to see the look in her eyes at the end of this video when she says it will change something inside of her forever. Have to hand it to this lady, though. She has overcome it and moved on. It turns out her speaking voice is loved just as much as her signing voice. I love Julie Andrews. She seems such a warm and genuine person. She exudes class. It must be something to know her in person.

I was inspired by Julie Andrew from Sound of Music and Marry Poppin, even when I heard her talking, I could immediately recognize her. I wish to say she's my idol forever. Her spirit cheers me up as I was in my childhood, and that have a massive impact on my life, ( I love to sing) - but then my vocal collapsed, due to someone strangling me when I was drunk. I was very devastated, and about to lose hope. I could not hit high notes anymore, I'm a high tenor, and it has been 3 years now and I never lose hope, at least to sing. THEREFORE I hope that I can be able to at least sing then, with that in mind, it turns to faith. I practice all the necessary breathing singing techniques, vowel placement, and others NOW I sing starting from bass, but now it getting improve even better than my last voice, within this new range. Love you so much, Julie Andrew, my Marry Poppin in my life even to now.
