The presence of human remains in domestic contexts, i.e., in or around dwellings, adds to the apparently diverse ways the people of the Neolithic treated their dead. A fragment of human skull was found at the Knap of Howar, for example, while at Skara Brae two adult females were buried beneath the wall of House Seven :source /www.nessofbrodgar.co.uk

If the village really did have no weapons, the most likely reason for its abandonment is that people with weapons came and slaughtered or enslaved them. It is interesting that "historians" always seem to want to ignore this paleontological reality.
@AMALAY Жыл бұрын
That’s really a good point you made here, but the fact that the village was totally covered by mud before it was discovered ,and luck of “hard evidence” ,makes the hypothesis of the severe storm a primary cause for locals to abandon the village according to historians .
@jswets5007 Жыл бұрын
@@AMALAY It is hilarious how "historians" will use "lack of hard evidence" to draw conclusions which are contradictory to logic but in line with particular narratives. There is no more evidence that the area was abandoned due to the weather than anything else, and yet that is what they declare as the most likely reason. The fact is that humans have been beating the elements back and living in areas and conditions that are considered uninhabitable by contemporary standards for as long as we are aware of their existence. The Frisian/Dutch began building dykes to push back the sea itself millennia ago. Academia requires that one keep an open mind, but only to what has already been declared acceptable. Thanks for the video. Good luck.
