I know people grow and change, but I feel like this side of Rory has been sleeping for a long time. He was expanded and versatile, and I feel like he's lost right now. I feel like I miss him, you know? I've been in the loop for a long time, and I see the curves life has given him, and the boons life has given as well. He's a different person from what he used to be, and that's okay to change and pursue things that interest you. Cavalcade, So the flies don't come, A toothpaste suburb, Who told you to think?! Just a taste of the bite and emotions that milo poured into his work, it always felt genuine and cozy, and special that he was sharing a piece of himself with us. He's a good man, I hope he's happy doing his current style now, I support him, but I still yearn for the past I suppose.

Hes in his 30s now? i believe? early i think. this was when he was young. troubled, and homeless. people start to solidify their personality as well as stabilize their neuroses as they age. it allowed so much emotional struggle and turmoil to be turned to beauty. I do love this music, and i try to be open mindful of his new stuff but i agree its just not the same for me anymore. even if i was black and it held more cultural significane to me as a person, i would still miss this version of him as it was so unique. The newer stuff lacks the creativity and spark, sounds much too generic. WTYTT was his last good album in my subjective opinion.

@@kurt7937 As time goes on I find myself supporting him less. I support this, but after how he's become I don't see that milo in him anymore. He's become mean in my eyes. I want to still listen his music but I almost feel punished for wanting to enjoy it still.

Not gonna lie, I just got off of antidepressants as of yesterday and I was finally able to have good dreams after months. I feel so different waking up today. I feel like I’ve have some sort of filter blocking me from properly living. Thinking back everything felt so empty while I was on it. I hope this is a good change for me. I agree with you 100%. I do think Purple Pages has a lot of soul but the Milo albums had a lot of heart. Por qué no los dos?
