The strange thing about Silent Night Deadly Night is that it wasn't the first movie to have a homicidal Santa Claus . For Example To All A Goodnight came out in 1980 - about 4 years prior- and had a killer in a Santa Claus suit. Why was this movie so comtroversial and other films with a similiar Santa Slayer not? Consider that.

@michaelprew2741 Precisely . And again, it's not the first movie With a killer Santa. Also consider Christnas Evil in 1980- same year as To All A Goodnight- which is far more insidious and disturbing as SN DN. I doubt too many pressure groups cared about that movie. Selective boycott it seems.
