Is it a ‘53 or ‘54 Plymouth? Ultra rare. Our neighbors’ dad used a black ‘53 Belvedere ragtop (with a torn yellowed plastic window) as a “station car” in the early ‘60s. It was a POS. He eventually upgraded to a Karmann Ghia and then a ‘66 LeMans Sprint OHC 6. Nice ride for the 2 mile trip to the Erie Lackawanna RR station every morning. My dad used a ‘61 VW convertible and later a ‘59 Olds Dynamic 88 we inherited from my PopPop when he passed in ‘61.

Does this car have power steering? If so, this is a rare option new to Chevy in late '53.

That Belvedere was beautiful! There aren't enough unique muscle cars at the shows. I love hauling out my Studebaker because people have no idea what it is, or that it is the very first supercharged musclecar.

Great looking and awesome sound! My 78 is waiting in line to have the legendary Steve Tanzi turn my L48 into a 450hp roller cam beast. He will take the engine in April of this year. He will also tune the carburetor to match. It’s gonna rip.
