I understand why you'd ask, thanks for the question. As a Christian we rely on the Bible to know about God and our own human nature, but our salvation comes from believing in Jesus Christ, it is only by Faith that one is saved. It all comes down to a personal choice and lived experience whether you decide if it is relevant enough for you based on what you know. And about mistakes, sure there might be some as you said due to copy and translations at the end 2000 years is quite a long time and humans are conditioned to make mistakes by default in my opinion But the main message and meaning is there.
