first thing you do is install devkitpro the there are sample code for GRRLIB on github that you can download. It takes a bit of time especially if you never coded with C/C++ before but its a fun hobby. wiibrew.org/wiki/Making_homebrew

Experiment. It's viewable but hard to spawn the planets where you want them to be. Unless I allow camera control.

Experiment. Testing to see that solo planets have a circular orbit. Of course when they start interacting they would be circular anymore

its a simple "unlicensed" aka homebrew racing game made for the wii. you steer along a predefined track in a "cyberpunk" themed city with "synthwave" music in the back ground. the video does not have any sound.

the outer circle is the gravity effect of the body. the sun/star is the biggest cycle

I balanced the speed so they dont head directly to the sun. crashing in to the sun is now game over.

I don't know of any Wii homebrew dev specific discords. Most people just setup devkitpro and hack away at C/C++ until they get something working. You can check GitHub for homebrew projects or checkout wiibrew.org for info on projects.
