Consent must be free for the contract to be a valid contract.Their are five cases in which consent of a party is not said to be free , amoung those five one of the case is COERCION (Defined under Section 15 of The Indian Contract Act 1872.Acoording to this - committing, or threatening to commit, any act forbidden by the Indian Penal Code or the unlawful detaining, or threatening to detain, any property, to the prejudice of any person whatever, with the intention of causing any person to enter into an agreement. In the given case Laxmidas has threatened to commit the act by baban supari😀his consent was not free. Hence this contract is Voidable contract.

In this case consent was not free , as given in sec10 (essentials of contract) the contract must be free consent so,in this case consent was not free hence it was not a valid contact 😊
