These videos piss me off so bad. This is all done on a table in a perfect controlled environment by lab rats who have never hung a piece of pipe in their life. Now do me a favor….make a video of you doing everything you just did off a 10 or 12 ft ladder above a ceiling with all the other mechanicals above that ceiling lol.

Cute video. If the BM product is so much better, why such a short warranty period? The Flameguard is warrantied for life. Seems like this little production is just a bunch of Marketing nonsense.

I would encourage everyone to read the Spears “Limited Warranty”. I did and got burned. Only applicable to original owner. Only applicable if all components are from Spears (forcing bundles). Lastly, and most importantly, Spears limits their liability to replacing their product. Not labor, not property damages, etc. AND you have to pay shipping costs to send them defect materials for them to test. All of this is in their warranty online for everyone to see. Given that neither warranty is ideal, I’ll go with the product that has scientifically better performance so I lessen the chance I’ll ever have to file a claim.

Craigslist BMW might want to take another look. You are confusing their Installer protection program with the warranty. Either way,, more products, way better service and longer warranty than the other. Unless you have an issue with anvils falling on your installed sprinkler system, Spears is the way to go. They all meet the specifications of the authorities that establish operational parameters for these life-safety systems. Pick the one you like. Both save lives. Just don’t like the marketing BS that has no real world relevance.
