I've had one for about 3 months now and it doesn't seem to be growing larger but it is extremely healthy. I've not had one brown leaf. They must be slow growers.

I agree on the root pruning. I did the same thing with my Monstera when I brought her home and I was scared since I never done that before, but she’s thriving and I didn’t lose any leaves! 🎉

@LeafyConversations yes it works . I have been pruning roots and all kinds of plants over the years and never had any issues as long as the plant is well hydrated. It makes more sense than to keep putting everything into bigger and bigger pots. Just not enough room. Lol 😆 I have a lot of plants and can't have 30 huge pots with huge plants. 😅

@LeafyConversations ya if they are rootbound and need bigger pots it just makes more sense to water them throughly a couple days before the root prune and they won't miss a beat. They are very finicky and hate to be messed with

Thanks for your helpful video. I just bought one of these a couple of months ago and can't find a lot of info on them. I didn't even know the exact variety until i took a photo and searched it. Aparrently, it's a rare breed. My biggest question right now is how to remove a dying leaf. It's a healthy plant but came with a couple of damaged leaves, I got it at a discount store, and one of the leaves is quite large and turning more brown and yellow as time goes on. Should i leave it until it's totally dead or remove it now? The leaf is about 10 inches long and the lower half of it is still green. The stem is quite thick and I'm not sure where to cut, low close to the main stem or take off just the leaf. Please, any help that you can give would be very much appreciated. No one seems to give this kind of info.

@KatarinaS. hello. Glad you found one. They are a great plant. You can cut it off all the way down by the stem. Wont hurt a thing on her. It's like any other plant when you cut it. The fuzzy stems make no difference. Lol

@KatarinaS. she also does very well climbing up a pole any pole you give her for support she will grow up and her leaves will stay big.
