8:44 Pro beatboxers must learn breathing techniques so their can control the rhythm or timing of their main beats. There are many techniques that can be used while breathing.
@vand3rhorst27 күн бұрын
That is so impressive. In your opinion what are the techniques that separate a beginner from an intermediate and intermediate to advanced/expert?
@lvrobertus27 күн бұрын
@@vand3rhorst I'll chime in by saying that imo any one beatbox technique is easy to learn but difficult to master. So the ultimate skill is the ability to have a wide range of sounds that you can replicate consistently and musically.
@vand3rhorst27 күн бұрын
@@lvrobertus That makes a lot of sense. It's exactly the same for drums. You want an arsenal of things you can do and lik eyou said can replicate on command while still keeping the composition musically sounding and palatable for the audience.

So, first the super low notes early on are created via a "Lip roll'' a staple in modern beatboxing. It's vibrations of your lips, you can look up a tutorial for a detailed explanation. Also that's how beatoboxers don't run out of air, some sounds are made breathing in. Also D-Low's SBX 2021 kickback battles are insane, those would be decent as a next reaction. But I'd recommend going for actual battles as you will also get to hear the competition.

I suggest for the layout of the reaction video, you can make your camera full screen with you on the right side of the video, then for the video you can put it on the bottom left where you see your pc as big as the video is right in front of your pov. Calm down. I must have watched this amazing performance about 30 times and I am still mesmerised. The power and huge guitar tone that Tina casually delivers is awesome . Yes, there are other talented metal players who can play this piece but Tina is a cut above. She started studying classical guitar at a very early age and it shows here. Everything is geared towards 100% efficiency and perfection: from the way she is holding the guitar to her « hand and wrist » position, calmly rocking, shredding Beethoven …By the end, I always feel dizzy and exhausted watching her, as if I’ve been on a giant rollercoaster …

If it's about loopstation songwriting, I'd recommend the 2019 Beardyman showcase. Dude's making up everything on the spot. Stream of conscious music, if you will, hah. Which is his whole career. Ridiculous setup and music making skills that are way out there. Inkie is another incredible song maker on loopstations (2019 battle compilation is fire). Blew everyone's mind with his second round in the 2018 battle. Unfortunately his first round was not error free, so he lost against a scene legend. Him not taking top spot in 2019 was also a bit controversial, because of the second device (which was allowed by the then-new rules, but I believe some judges were thinking he was cheating with it? I'm not sure). Then there's Sam Perry's Brighter Moons (the swissbeatbox channel version; the other version is missing a few elements that elevate the swb one), which has an incredibly beautiful intro, evolving into a straight banger. Also Robin. More straightforward song creation, in beatbox/loopstation regards, but by limiting himself (sort of), he's creating beautiful, honest music. In general music, as a drummer, you might enjoy the band Sokoninaru, as well as Baard Kolstad's drum playthroughs for the band Leprous (the entire songs are fantastic, but his drumming is so cool). Sorry for the wall of text...but even if you're not interested, leaving a comment doesn't hurt!

Tina’s amazing version of Steve Vai « for the love of god » is a rare display of sheer guitar mastery technic combined with soul and emotions. Her awesome reverse whammy bar cat purr technic climax, sounds awesome, angry and freaky. This famous Steve Vai guitar reverse whammy bar cat purr trick, mimics a demented enraged roaring and pissed off wild Bob cat freaking out. Tina was a total master of this guitar technic. But she was also just a normal French student who said, believe it or not, that her high school and university studies (near Paris) did not leave her enough time to practice her guitar. (actual quote from an interview). Imagine if she would have found the time. Oh my God!
