There' side metal-rods, between where the side fire blocks would be. These are blocking the sideward movement of the top baffle, blocking it enough to prevent its removal. Instructions suggest to take out these bars (unless the instructions mean some other bars?). In any case the upper baffle will not come out

thks for this totally useless video on stanley cooker and how to use it

Worked perfect for me. Tip for old baffle, just give it a tip of a hammer and it falls appart. I wouldnt agree with taking the top off the stove to change a baffle as others have suggested.

The video isn't real life for sure! I can only say thanks for the video so i found these comments! 🙌🏽😅 What's in the video doesn’t work after the baffle has warped and expanded over time. 1. due to the long tie rods at either side being much too tight to the edges for it to shift left or right to angle it out. 2. Even when i lifted off the top and the long tie bolts werent in the way it was still too tight to take out through the door. I got the baffle out by loosening the two bottom nuts(under the stove), that then let the top and long tie bolts lift clean off. The baffle could be taken out then. As mentioned above, I'm replacing the fire seal again now with a new one. Thanks for the video in order to find this thread, and thanks for all of the comments re hoovering etc. I feel we could start a support group after that experience!!😅

I have gone on to the roof and sweep the flu from there. I shake the baffle plates to release as much soot as i can. Great stove, but a ballox to clean the flu

The 60 cm cookers are made in Turkey, by whom?
@endajohn Жыл бұрын
He makes it look so simple to remove the baffle. This baffle expands and is next to impossible to get it out or put it back in. It’s also almost impossible to replace the baffle protection plates correctly as they won’t sit in place properly. Avoid at all costs.

Worst stove to clean. Removal of baffle and firebrick an absolute nightmare. Do not buy this stove!

Removed a section in my camper where the entertainment area is and installed. Works great. Instead of propane furnace heat, I can use this kzbin.infoUgkxATHBlMJwipGgVWseuAFKvDQ_5R4_lywo to heat the camper as long as it's hooked up to shore power. Only thing I do not like is there does not seem to be a thermostat. I'm presuming it has a built-in one so it does not overheat. Really like all the other color options it has to offer.

I don't have a chimney and would like to have a stove fitted as above, it's says that horizontal pipes are a maximum of six inches, but how long is the 45 degree bend?

Guys I have one of these in the house 10years it came with the house. There is very little heat output from it. Is there an area of the stove that is supposed to throw out heat or is it the radiant heat fro the glass? I know other people who swear by them.

I used this video to replace the bricks but kept the old baffle, easy peasy in the shop with a brand new stove at waist height, not so easy with an old stove. Prepare yourself for tears off despair/joy, broken finger nails, back ache and ensure there are no children around to hear the bad language, well done to the person who accomplished this in 40 minutes, it took me 50 minutes, finally succeeded by putting the baffle protectors in place but leaving the standing up of them until last. Never trust a man with ballpoint pen writing on his hands

What a pisstake using a brand new stove that is not even connected. Wish they showed how to deal with a burnt out baffle plate that has been sitting there for years.
