I've had mine for years, moved it to a different country - and suddenly little feather pieces are flying off everywhere. Is that a sign that it's reached its natural life-span? Or does it just need a good rinse? Thanks!!
@SpeedCleaning6 күн бұрын
It sounds to me like it might be the end of its lifespan unless you can gather the lost feathers and reattach them. Sometimes you can pull down the collar that helps hold in all the feathers and just push the feathers that you lost back in. If it's not a tight enough fit, you will probably just continue to lose feathers and it may be a good time to replace the duster!

(lots of text but I hope you understand at the end why I am really happy you uploaded this) I have a trauma with feather dusters (started in childhood, family got it worse with the time by exposing me to one that was in my house. I use to love playing with that feather duster, it was very very big, almost to the ceiling but someday I got scared by my brother and ever since we fought he told me he would take the feather duster out of its place, was terrifying even knowing I slept in front of it every night as child. Family had to burn it. Now Im an adult with a feather duster in my house again because my mother wanted to laugh at that trauma by buying one (not ostrich feathers, but turkey, small one to change with time). I know is a silly trauma, but I just wanted to put You in context, so I can thank you ❤, Im watching this video to get rid of the fear and trauma and now I think Im ready to get a small colored one to practice... Natural colored ones keep being unsetting somehow...

Thank you so much for sharing your story with me. It’s not silly at all-childhood experiences can have a deep impact, and I’m really touched that you felt comfortable enough to share yours. I’m so glad the video is helping you on your journey to overcome this fear. It’s amazing that you’re taking steps to face it. When you’re ready, I’d love for you to try the Speed Cleaning feather duster. It’s designed to be gentle and effective, and maybe it could be a helpful step in your journey. ❤❤

@@SpeedCleaning Im trying to buy one, my mother still has the small one but its natural color which reminds me of the large one that started everything (I loved that feather duster until the trauma) maybe I should ask her if we can change its feathers color or something, still terrifies me bc of the color 😅 but yours is actually pretty bc it doesnt have the same color as the one we have 🥺it looks so fluffy

Kitchen, you have to clean it everyday cause of the dirty dishes and fresh food you serve yourself in it. Second comes bathroom. All the buildup in the toilet, sink and shower you have to scrub. And the occassional removal of hair...
@SpeedCleaning24 күн бұрын
Absolutely! The kitchen definitely requires daily attention with dishes and food prep. The bathroom also presents its own set of challenges with buildup and hair removal. Thanks for sharing your insights-they really highlight the hard work involved in both areas!Have a fantastic day.

Bedroom. It's got all the personal stuff. The other places can be kept clean by only keeping what you need in there. Bedroom is for all the extra miscellaneous objects I don't know what to do with, but still want to keep, so it's much harder to clean.
@SpeedCleaning24 күн бұрын
That's a great point! The bedroom often ends up as a catch-all for personal items and miscellaneous objects, making it trickier to keep tidy. Thanks for sharing your perspective-it’s definitely a challenge to manage all those extra things!

None are that hard to clean. The secret is just to keep it clean and then it will never become overwhelming like in the video.

@@SpeedCleaning Whatever works for you! I personally LOVE the two minute rule which helps me keep everything tidy throughout the day, but that doesn’t always work if you share the space with a large family. Hard to believe that’s all one day! Wow!
