I saw Bela Fleck & the Flecktones almost 20 years ago in Brazil and I still remember that concert very well. The same magic you watch here, only better because you're actually there seeing it happen. One of the most influential experiences I ever had.

Luckily a lot of Bela videos popped up when I was researching the banjo. If not I’d still have never heard of these guys!

I've left my progressive rock days behind

Play what's limited my listening to progressive rock 😊 Between Bela and Snarky Puppy my horizons have expanded. No more bubble gum music. Right now I'm viewing on my pixel ear buds ....it's the best way. They have set a new standard for all to attain ...a few years ago Bela composed his own concerto, and for followed with Rhespegi's Pines of Rome with the Brass section playing from the balcony. I'm glad I made it this far to have the opportunity. In my video library I have "Live at the Quick ☺️

I saw the Wooten Brothers band in Houston at the N.O jazz festival.... Victor is unique. The only time I heard blue Grass was the Beverly Hillbillies theme! I have all the discography of the group and solo albums. Bela sent me down to Rabbi 🕳️. Now I have a box set of Flatt and Scrugs. Bela expanded my musical horizons 😊

Check out a Group called 'Strength in Numbers". That's where I started following Bela Fleck. Also, I'm not a fan of Blue grass, but that one is Special.😊
