I'm trying to make sense of those elevators @ 23:48 to the right in the burning lounge. They would go up into the security office and linen room. I think there would be a narrow hallway space behind these rooms where the elevators could open to accessed by the stairs landing. But its blocked by a giant metal plate that says "fire door" seen @ 22:24. Only way it makes sense..

I can't believe after all these years no one knows exactly what the Assault Shotgun does, besides having higher capacity. It might actually just be that. I have always believed it has less damage drop off at range but i base that on absolutely nothing. It just feels like it should lol

The top shelf of the low poly weapons is dedicated to Soviet weapons. The pistol is quite clearly a Tokarev, the revolver is a Nagant M1895, and the magnum is actually the Podbyrin 9.2 mm, the fictional Soviet large caliber handgun used by Arnold Schwarzenegger in the movie Red Heat. The gun is actually a Desert Eagle altered to "look Soviet". It's unclear if the devs thought it was a real gun or if they were just making a reference. If the middle shelf is dedicated to Vietnam era US weapons then the shotgun is actually a Remington Model 7188, the bottom rifle is an M40 without scope, and the middle rifles is clearly an M16 system but as far as i know that configuration did not exist during Vietnam. It actually looks like a MSSR, which is a Philippine developed DMR based on the M16A1. Thing is that gun is from the late 90s. The M16A1 rifle is from the Vietnam era though so maybe this was just the devs putting in the coolest version they found of that weapon.

I never played this game, it's one of the few (technically canon) REs i haven't played. My heart sank when i saw that Umbrella guy hamming it up and i thought it might be HUNK. What a relief when he got impaled...i don't think i could handle them Steve'ing my boy.

I would be careful with taking IMFDB as gospel. I know for a fact there is at least one blatant error in the RE6 entry because the guy who wrote it was trying and failing to be funny instead of just being objective. It's pretty egregious because anyone who's played the game can easily see it's not true. It's a useful resource though, I'm no gun expert so i also like reading it. Mine thrower is actually one of my favorite weapons in this game because it has such a cool design. It looks so much better than the Megaman one in RE4 (looks so out of place in that game).
