Laughable problems. GR 86 for example has oil starvation issue which wrecks the engine if you dare to take track car for tracking... This Genesis Coupe just seems to me like a garage queen. Sadly, I do not own a place to put this car in. I will have to settle for something less like VW Scirocco.

The 3.8 is a great motor. I've had my coupe since new (2010) and have put 227,000. The early 4 especially had serious problems.

I ended up putting ark downpipe and test pipes with the ISR race exhaust and noticed no power loss if not more power gain. I don’t even get the lag you were talking about. I feel like it may be the different mods added

i know im 4 years late but im 99.99999% sure you put the light assemblies in backwards. There's little mirrors on one side of the housing to bounce the light towards the center of the plate, not away from it. you can really tell @ 9:21 in the video. love the car tho!

weak ass transmission........ the rev meter is climbing up super slow and 2nd gear to 3rd is weak, sounds like all the power dies off. I don't believe this car is 360hp

VERY NICE. I did the max bore on mine as well best bang for buck. until 100 shot took all the love, but last dyno with mostly bolt ons and 100 shot i got 453 to the wheels. same setup as yours different tune though. of course i did pulleys and such as well.

I’ve got some bad butt ESR rims 19s x7 in the back 6 in front white inner and polished aluminum outer, let me know if you interested they need a lil sanding on front because of verry light curb rash, totally fixable. I’ll be selling them cheap after I change to a meaty 18, these ride too ruff for me. Comes with khumo low profiles, our roads are to rough here in lousyanna lol

My issue is the chrome on the door handles started flaking off but it’s sharp and stabs my finger like every finger was covered in slices and cuts so I wrapped it with paper for the time being😭😂might just take the whole thing off the dip the plastic in chrome and heat it to the plastic tho instead of wrapping it in something else that will just fall off in the future

The water bit in the trunk was an easy fix. I'm a mechanic took me 30seconds to find the issue and just a little permatex had no issues. The problem is in the frame lines, there's a small gap above the tailight.
