So annoying how this interviewer keeps interrupting his guests!! Asks a question and then before the interviewee even answers he says another comment. They don't tell him that?! Just shut up for a minute

This movie (1985) and Born Free (1966) are my two favorite movies of all time in the entire world!! Both ironically have the score written & produced by the same person (John Barry), almost two decades apart!! I didn’t know that until recently and found it so ironic - I was shocked that my heart recognized the connection years & years before my head!!

Sydney Pollack was one of the greatest Actors/Directors/Producers of his generation. He was so deserving of the Oscar he was awarded for Best Director and Best Picture at The Oscars for this MAGNIFICENT FILM! I could write pages about this film. It Is My All Time Favorite.

I can understand why Meryl works so hard to advocate for women’s rights in Hollywood. To think about it, Bror (her husband) is a playboy. Denys (her boyfriend) is a boyman who refuses to grow up. Both male characters are men who don’t want to grow up, and their behaviors are portrait as normal, and even romantic. And Sydney Pollack doesn’t even take Meryl’s life seriously, not considering the fact she has a family and two kids. I don’t think you can explain this away by the phrase “workaholic”. It is criminal. To think about Meryl just takes it in stride. It is cruel. Not mentioning how they treat the animal. This is not acceptable. And you wonder why today’s men are so confused as to how to properly behave. How can they know if all they are fed are those content? Hollywood needs to grow up. Show us what a real man should behave. Not manboys who are looking for a girlfriend to replace their mom in the movie.

Am still bitter that the studio flak charged with submitting Meryl for awards got the dates wrong. This film really should have had a trilateral tie. Indelible work by all concerned.

For all the great Meryl performances -- and they are legion -- Kate Gulden is the Streep turn I keep coming back to and am destroyed by as much as the first time. Her co-stars are right there with her. Immortal.

I’ve read that Meryl Streep auditioned for Dwan from King Kong but didn’t get it since she was deemed to unattractive and it went to Jessica Lange also she was originally supposed to play as Ellen Ripley but she dropped out of the project due to the death of her partner and the role went to Sigourney Weaver

I get the sense Meryl never liked Anne. They’re too different. She probably saw right through her pretentiousness. And no journalist ever realized, including this one, that she couldn’t care less about her Oscar record.

1:09- Stay away from adultery. "1 Corinthians 6:18 NIV [18] Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body. " "Exodus 20:14 NIV [14] “You shall not commit adultery." "Hebrews 13:4 NIV [4] Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral. " "James 4:17 NIV [17] If anyone, then, knows the good they ought to do and doesn’t do it, it is sin for them." "Jeremiah 13:27 NIV [27] your adulteries and lustful neighings, your shameless prostitution! I have seen your detestable acts on the hills and in the fields. Woe to you, Jerusalem! How long will you be unclean?” "1 John 1:9 NIV [9] If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. " "Luke 16:18 NIV [18] “Anyone who divorces his wife and marries another woman commits adultery, and the man who marries a divorced woman commits adultery. " "Matthew 19:9 NIV [9] I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another woman commits adultery.” "Proverbs 6:32 NIV [32] But a man who commits adultery has no sense; whoever does so destroys himself." "Romans 7:2-3 NIV [2] For example, by law a married woman is bound to her husband as long as he is alive, but if her husband dies, she is released from the law that binds her to him. [3] So then, if she has sexual relations with another man while her husband is still alive, she is called an adulteress. But if her husband dies, she is released from that law and is not an adulteress if she marries another man." Film is great, my only issue is Jane's friends and therapist condoning a sin.

Miranda Priestly is an AMAZING character. She may be the "Devil" but you can't help but LOVE her!! She looks fabulous, she has a real presence, she's REALLY good at her job, she doesn't need to shout or swear to tear someone down. She's also funny as hell! Her insults and sarcasm is so brutal and on point. Meryl Streep is a Goddess and Miranda is a Queen x x

This guy's whole age theory of how the younger man can't be younger than 40 for a relationship to work would never be put on an older man with a younger woman. It really depends much more on the individuals. My guy is 16 years younger than me, met him when he was 29. Works just fine!
