Playing #thecrewmotorfest is still my favourite thing despite my constant cursing and questioning other players' mental state - but what i started to say near the beginning was the the difference between the story mode and online (ie missions versus live races against real people) is that "offline" mode really is prettier than multiplayer mode. It used to be that when a game has an online mode, that may often have been developed by a different studio than did the main story. Not sure if it's like that now, but the offline mode does seem to be nicer looking (the multiplayer is still very very pretty).

Ipads are really this powerful now? I remember when people were saying this game wasn't even going to come to consoles because it was too intensive.

Awesome game. I remember getting this for Christmas when it first came out, everyone was blown away by the graphics. With some of these recent NFS releases being miserable to play, these classics really start to look timeless.

Don't pay attention to my complaining about how bad the stream looks - it is fine, as you can see, i just saw something very different on my monitor. I still want to try and make it a bit better, but for a live stream, it's pretty good. Thanks again for watching!

A test live stream AND all-special cars - the bumper car, the outhouse, lawnmower, "barbee dream car", and everyone has to drive them. I had a lot of fun.

I won't lie - MC2 is also my favourite. Between us, I finished the the first round, got to Paris, then lost all my video for it when a hard drive it was on crashed. So...i have to play the game again from the start then start recording once I hit Paris :). It'll happen - soon, I promise :)

The Evo 9 is like the best Group 3 vehicle in the game, along with it's successor, not the 999R. The 999R's acceleration and agility was just to compensate that it is more fragile and easy to fall off from.

All the players in this race were / are real people as far as I know (anything with a green * beside the name would be AI, but they get bumped for a real person).

Hi there - sorry for the delay replying - my current set up is fairly modest by today's standards : Intel i5 12th Gen - 12600K 32 gigs DDR5 RAM 12gb GeForce RTX-3060 graphics card 2x 1TB NVMe m.2 drives 750 watt power supply and a LOT of case fans (i have a micro itx set up which works great for me as I have limited space.) i feel like it's got a bit of time left in it - so far i haven't run into anything I haven't been able to play at at least High settings and achieve 60fps. I won't lie, though - HDR content is still a struggle, I can't really properly play anything like Cyberpunk in HDR with out some considerable slow-down.

You mentioned being concerned about the music and copyright problems. All the music is by one of the developers and they said on the game's Discord that none of it will be put into KZbin's content ID system. So you probably don't have to worry about it.

I have this same phone got it used for $50 in like new condition it's works for what I need and I find it loads faster and is snappier then my 2023 and 2024 Motorola moto g pure witch is a name brand I to had a moment when turning it on same as you did

I started the next part but it got super frustrating (again) so i put it on hold (again) for a brief moment , but i will be finishing it, and that will come sooner than the last time lol. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I'm at the power plant with the giant-headed flying babies and i'm kind of stuck - but i'll figure it out and post it when it's ready.

I didn’t like this game at first but I ended up enjoying it and beating it. I think you’ll like it too. Here’s a tip: look up the license plate codes-you can unlock special vehicles that you literally cannot unlock otherwise. Nothing game breaking or overpowered, just special stuff.

Not flexing, I promise - i don't know what settings I used. Give me a day or two and I'll see what I can dig up. I do know that I googled "best settings' for this game and found something, but i may have tweaked a bit, but nopt much - i'm not that daring lol. When i find them, i'll put the settings in the description.

I got to this point with it where I was just dumb. I could not get past that giant crab thing and after trying twenty times I kind of threw my hands up and said "to heck with this" . I do feel like I can go back to it, though, and every time I see the thumbnails I feel like i'm being taunted lol. I'll finish it - i promise - and soon. Stay tuned. Why are you so aggressive in this game? Is it intended to be played like Wreckfest? I only play Forza Horizon (where this kind of racing is discouraged, though not uncommon) so I legitimately don't know.

Actually this game is one of the most feral racing games i have ever experienced. I still don't even know if I like it lol. Any race involving hyper cars or the GP class is especially hostile - and the emoji's you can throw at people as you pass are especially vile - it's clear some of them are made to mock. I actually did not renew my Uplay+ membership because every time I played this game online I was just so wound up after playing for a while. It's such a pretty game, but the online experience is, well, hateful. What you're seeing is me adapting to the people I'm racing against - like I say when I play Wreckfest - I usually only hit back lol
