Thank you! The one with all the little flags and the statue in the back is the Boston Common. www.nationalgeographic.com/culture/article/memorial-day-1

Every vote counts. My vote is for Harris/Walz. Thank you to all who will be supporting her. We NEED her more now than ever. Remember: Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door! We ARE that golden door to freedom. Keep the faith.

Odd picture of extravagantly complicated Christmas table to go with s song advocating simplicity?

My college choir sang this beautiful song in our spring concert in 2010. I just love the beautiful lyrics, and melody. Very good memories!

Lovely performance of this great song; I don’t know another performance which conveys so well how this arrangement musically echoes the waves and ripples of the waters.

Question re: Donald Erb. It is highly likely that they are both from the same set of Mennonite brothers that settled in Lancaster County in Pennsylvania in the late 1600s. Donald's branch is probably a part of the family that eventually moved on to Ontario Canada and spread into Detroit. James' branch definitely moved on eventually settling in Heston Kansas in the late 1800s. I am not aware that they ever met each other. James Erb passed on in 2014. I was his son.

This was my favorite Christmas song when I was a child. Thank you for posting this. I heard it sung by a children's choir when I was a child. I'm 69 now and I still love it 💙🙏

My junior high school choir of over 100 singers sang this as one of their last concert choir songs of the year back in about spring of 1978. I’m 61 now and recognized it right away.
