It is fun to hear about all your activities and family traditions. The snow is gorgeous! We like to play Mexican train dominoes with friends.

Mmm, Tom & Jerrys! 😋 That’s a tradition I enjoy as well. My in-laws have a Tom & Jerry set that has been in the family for a long time that somehow makes them even better.
@selfishknitter14 күн бұрын
One of my cousins has our family’s set. Is it cream colored with “Tom & Jerry” in gold? I would love to have a set someday, if more of my family starts to enjoy them.

I like your style! I have made a few Clayoquot hats and would definitely make more. The pattern is great! I also made a Ravello years ago. Wonderful! It makes me feel better to see someone that thinks along the same lines as me. I hear other people's "new year resolutions" and it's like they pulled random thoughts from all over the place. I have been building on the same goals for a few years now and it has made such a difference.

We always watch the George C Scott Christmas Carol. NGL, I thought it was a bit creepy as a kid, but I love it now! 😅 You are way more strategic with your cast on than I am. I just stretch a length of yarn up my arm a time or two (depending on what I need) and see how close I get 😂. If I'm just a few stitches shy, I'll do a cable cast on at the end to get those last few 🙈.

The recycling does tend to pile up this time of year 😅. Rather than pay for recycling pickup, we just drive it over once a week (it's only like 10 minutes away). But the bins there have been increasingly fuller - they were basically maxed out this morning

Last year Devin had a very similar blue (absolutely *gorgeous*) and I noticed a bit of color transfer while winding it. I immediately panicked and messaged her 🙈😂. But then I tested the yarn in some water to see if the dye rinsed out any, and it didn't. So I just started knitting with it and it's been fine! This year though I actually didn't have any transfer with that blue! (I also never knew it was called crocking, so thanks for that! I learned something today)
