I love rewatching old videos with her from time to time and feeling a warm nostalgia. Feels like a different, long-gone era (it was actually). If I had a time machine, I would move back in time to give her a hug and convince her to stay away from Hollywood and politics for good. The chance for that mission to succeed would be small, but at least I would try. P.S. - I never met her in real life, but I hope that there is still Ellen deep inside of herself waiting to come back like Phoenix.
