A marvelous, marvelous performance--although a bit strident at times--but beautifully nuanced for the most part. I really think that Ms.Bergen's performance of this song, as well as Delors Grey's, are the best I've ever heard...and, believe me, I've heard 'em all.

This song is for people who acknowledge internalized racism but don’t give a fuck about doing anything about it. Beauty.

Why have puppets when they aren’t even doing ventriloquism. So pointless lol
@seronymus22 күн бұрын
It's a parody of sesame Street and you can't really do ventriloquism in a musical. At least not if you want believable motion

Unfortunately, racism does exist. I reject the premise that we ALL take part in it. I love comedy but I'm pretty sure we can all get by without racist jokes. They're hateful and offensive. Maybe if we could get past all the hate that so many people harbor, let it go, it would stop weighing us down so we could all rise.
@Kitty666EmoGoth2 ай бұрын
This is why I like this skit. It was back in a time where people didn't get offended so easily and we didn't have to walk on eggshells. Everyone could laugh at themselves.
