While I am not in the market for a new machine, if I was, and given my skill level, logic would dictate a 26. Like the old Vito OEM Yamaha I have, I prefer not having the high F-sharp key. Keep up the great work!!

WOW!, that has a lovely sharp taste to the sound. Unique, distinctive. Love it. Was super cool to see it with the overhaul in progress two weeks ago. Off-topic, my enclosures practice is coming along including learning the importance of it. Keep up the great work.

Nice. Cool trivia. John Williams of Star Wars fame etc...etc... played piano for a few Mancini pieces (like Peter Gunn) and did jazz piano work in clubs way before his fame.

Had a great time! Cousin in law has her YAS280 and is very happy. The Super Action 80 Alto sounds great considering the maintenance path ahead. Again thanks for your expert work and sage advice. Also, now practicing enclosures. )

Well, now I know what a Slade sounds like when an expert plays one. Kind of a different kind of bright sound. In no way rich. I don't want to be too critical having never played one ( hobbiest, intermediate player). Listening to the Teddy Edwards sextet, 'It's Alright', 1967.

As you know you can get these--including tenors--dirt cheap off the Internet. Never played them, but my big worry would be out of the box setup/regulation. Intonation? Have a great weekend.

@@mikejaggs6722 Czechoslovakian manufactured. Same location as the first KEILWERTH saxes. I don’t rate it. It’s finished and still feels and sounds not right. Intonation is poor.
