The work and time for everyone, to get this right on the night... It is complex for complexity's sake though, so I hope they were given 2nd prize more on the basis of - in particular - the astonishing Mawby piece they did. That was out of this world.

I agree with the comment below. I prefer the quicker tempo too…but the dynamics, balance, clarity and the overall vocal production especially in key moments (outbursts) by this amazing ensemble is what makes this piece so stunning. So SO good New Dublin Voices...I'm a fan! ❤️👍🏼 I love Miškinis’ choral pieces and have sung a few in years past and this is just as excellent! The only minor nitpick I have about this performance is the few stray looks by a couple of the singers…eyes on the conductor please! 😋😄 LOL
