I bought a Tier 1 Concealment XIPHOS V2. It’s an IWB holster. If you want an OWB holster, I think they sell them too.

Does the Vortex Defender ST sit flush and clean front to back and side to side on the NHC Delta Point Pro IOS plate? hard to tell in video.

what plate from Nighthawk Custom did you utilize for the Vortex Raxor red dot? I do not see that footprint in thier offerings online for the IOS system?

@@Jake-of4cwI think the ST outperforms the Razor in pretty much every way. Only thing left to see is the durability and lifespan of the ST. I have about 6 years of hard use on the Razors and they’re durable as hell. So far the ST is the same. 💪

Depends on the model from nighthawk. If you have purchased a production model they make, lead time from them is 6-8 months. For custom works those can take up to a year from what I've seen since I have asked nighthawk before they've said their custom works is anywhere from 12-18 months and for a production model but want things to add to it and such, the lead time will be extended. For a production on 6-8 months and for custom 12-18

The 14 hour shut off time is a deal breaker this has shake to wake and if you daily carry it the optic will never shut off. A lot of people are only getting about a month on a battery sure not 9500 hours.

I have them on 4 pistols and haven’t had to replace any batteries yet. The auto shutoff time is definitely longer than I prefer. There is a plan to address this and I’m waiting on confirmation. Thanks for your comment

Will the red dot still hold zero if you remove the optic to change battery?

If you have to remove the optic screws, your zero will most likely shift. Best to check your zero. It’ll be close.

I use Vortex because they make a fantastic line of products with the best warranty in the game. 14 hour auto shutoff is great in case you want to shoot a match all day and you forget to turn your dot off.

Looks like they expanded upon the President model with the full length dust cover, slide lock options, two-tone dlc, iOS included, and aggressive grip module. I like it.

good info however i have found it very difficult to get good leverage on the pointer finger mag realease since im left handed without keeping my support hand on the gun while initially dropping the mag. Maybe its just me, also wondering if you could provide the link for those mag pouches. Tried to search but couldnt find them?

It seems that being left-handed presents several extenuating circumstances. I know that a lot of guys that are lefties, (without long-ass fingers) build up the pad of the release with some type of material. You may have to message Ryan directly for those pouches. [email protected]

There’s a Dawson “Ice” on the pistol in the video. I know the other Dawsons fit, and I had a CK Arms on it too.
