Thank you for posting this video. It was a very big help to me this morning. I'm a self employed massage therapist and have had some clients for almost 15 years and some of them feel entitled because of the amount of time that they have been with me as well as followed me. I value all of my customers and treat them as I would like to be treated. It's really hard when customers do not want to follow policies or feel entitled because of their time with you though and I was having a hard time figuring out how to deal with that. Thank you

Brilliant video, really well said. This is exactly how I started, a very unsexy business buying and selling Bearings and power transmissions after working in the industry for 5 years. Could see some potential opportunities and started small and grew it bit by bit to end up with a business that now does 8 figures annual revenue. I'm currently working in an 8-5 (or more, hah) in software (would like to get out) but, I live in a small college town, where the population is under 30k. I keep wondering if it's feasible to start a local service business here and have that multi 7-figure exit. Do you think it's possible to start a sweaty startup that's that successful in a lower population area? Would it be significantly more difficult to get the business to that level, since the market is not even close to what it is in even a small city (population over 100k)?

It's important to acknowledge that not everyone is meant to be an entrepreneur. Social media, especially platforms like KZbin, have glamorized this lifestyle, often suggesting that it's always worthwhile. However, the reality is that not every business idea will succeed. When someone fails, society often points fingers and claims it's their fault for not finding a viable product or market. Additionally, not everyone is passionate about the things people typically need or want. Personally, I'm still grappling with the decision to quit my run coaching business because I no longer felt dedicated to it. Taking that step back has made me feel guilty due to the societal stigma that suggests giving up makes you a loser. I initially started a side business based on someone else's belief in me, rather than pursuing what I truly wanted. For most of my life, I've found myself taking more advice from others than listening to my own intuition. As a result, I often feel like I'm not a true business person or that I’m not meant to be an entrepreneur.

It's those experiences that shape resilience and pave the way for future success.

As a professional Fence builder there’s three problems with this First, the material used is a treated pine, and will warp more than our government system. Cedar is really the best material for privacy fences. Second, the fence company did not premix or even try to mix the concrete and that does not follow code, guarantee those posts are loose two hours after setting Lastly, $22 a linear foot for a privacy fences way cheap, it speaks to why they cut corners The saddest thing I see in business is when the homeowner thinks it should be cheaper and goes with a half ass company just to call us back in two years to redo the fence anyways at our now more expensive price Sorry to hear that your fence has probably already been replaced or needs replacing
