Hello, how do I get a pheasant to settle down and lay eggs after they lay eggs?

Hi there! Pheasants usually lay a whole clutch of eggs before they start incubating them. So, if they've already laid some eggs, that's a good sign! They likely just need some peace and quiet to sit on them and keep them warm until they hatch. If it's a wild pheasant: Wild pheasants typically find their own nesting sites and incubate their eggs naturally. There's not much you can do to directly influence them. If it's a pet pheasant: If you're raising pheasants and want to maximize their egg production, here are some tips: Provide a quiet and secure nesting box: This will help the hen feel comfortable laying and incubating her eggs. Ensure proper nutrition: A balanced diet with calcium is crucial for healthy egg production. Minimize stress: Loud noises or disturbances can discourage hens from laying or incubating. Consider removing the eggs: If you're not interested in hatching chicks, you can remove the eggs daily to encourage the hen to lay more.
