Is there any chance that Black Cake 1, the Black Cake B-sides, or Ashes will become available on iTunes or Apple Music?

Also listen to this for when I'm writing and hoping that my novel eventually gives people the same feeling this album gives me :) your music is so appreciated, the fanbase you've developed might not be the biggest but I think we all truly feel something from this art that is so deeply meaningful for all of us, thank you so much!! PS Tracking from Black Cake 2 is one of the most melancholic sounds I've heard in my entire life :')

Yo. Did you use real drums on some of those songs. I know you got a drum kit and take lesson so i was curious if you started adding it to your music
@hexsystem2 ай бұрын
I wrote the drum parts but hired a professional, Graham Hopkins, who added a bit of his own style to them too.

@hexsystem ooh wow. That's pretty cool man yeah I saw you were taking drum lessons and I was curious yk. I'm personally a drummer myself so i noticed. So did you do the same thing for new is old? Or was that you playing on the kit. Either way you make some awesome music man. Try using some of your own drumming next time. Even before any acoustic kit you made some pretty clever drum machine parts on manhunter. Got to be one of my favorite drum beats that wasn't on drums. It's also kinda rare for an electronic musician to use real drums so when I heard it was a nice change. If you ever wanna challenge yourself. Try drumming the beat to man hunter. I've tried for a awhile now and still can't get it down just right. Big fan. Sorry If this is long winded I'm just very appericative of your music and animations. It's like a breathe of fresh air.

HEXSYSTEM, You are one of my favorite artists, period. It's one thing for someone to be one of my favorite musicians, but you do a lot more than that. What you create is transcendent, and I believe a lot of people would agree that your creations have a very potent form of contemplative energy, demonstrative of your everyday effort to pursue personal apotheosis. Unbelievably badass.

Hey just wanted to let you know I’ve listened to this album countless times. Whenever I’m writing I’ll put this on. I’ve begun to really sink deep into a piece I’ve been working on and genuinely you have no idea how much of it I owe to you. Thank you. Thank you for helping me to create. It’s brought me more purpose and joy than I’ve felt about anything I’ve ever made. You are the soundtrack of my creative process. Thank you I genuinely can’t write if I don’t have one of your albums on or maybe something from carpenter brut. I won’t word vomit anymore just need to try and let you know how unbelievably important what you are doing is to me.

I watched Interface during my middle school years and I started listening to your music during my last weeks of highschool, It felt like it lasted forever but it just ended like waking up from a long dream. I was so stressed back then with all the homework, competitions, military stuff, online friends, making a good portfolio for my college and actually finding one that I'd want to spend the next years of my life at. And after so much worrying and anxiety, I succeeded. I got in and college started a few weeks ago. Now I'll just try not to worry so much about my new environment, after all I've already been through so much (and so much more is to come)

A plane flies overhead, at least they will make it... Nothing seems to work out for me... Here comes another one... There's no way it's for me... It'll continue even if I'm not here... Should I be a part of it? Will I be the only one? I don't like where things are heading... But maybe I could try to fix it... I have to fix it to make it better. Things must be better and it must be me.

You're on the metro. You're moving, but you're not actually moving. The world moves around you. You're watching as it goes by, hoping that you'll be a part of it. Before you can make sense of anything, you've reached the next stop and it all comes to a halt, all for someone else. Will the next one be for you...?

of alien and unexpected problems that demand equally new and innovative solutions. a ritual for progress, serene yet pressured. music to answer difficult questions to. considering the era in which this album was made, this is not surprising!

A void. What an experience. Thank you for this album. One more 40 minutes of acute concentration but also taking in interesting new sounds.

I came from the Spiritual Paralysis album published on the Umami page, it's been such a long time since i haven't discovered and wasn't hooked by an album during my study sessions. I am happy to have found this creative universe, looking forward to exploring it.
