De plaatselijke ronden van KP Gingelom.

Enkel als de poort open is, meestal enkel bij de 24u van Spa zodat toeschouwers van de 24u ook gebruik kunnen maken van de tribune voor de F1. Dit jaar was bij WEC al een heel deel van de tijdelijke tribunes opgebouwd waardoor deze plek nu bereikbaar was bij de 6u van Spa, net zoals de tribunes in La Source en Speakers corner. Maar er kan wel maar 2a3 man staan dus je moet geduld hebben.

Oh leuk om te horen. Echt veel meer beeldmateriaal heb ik niet. Heb 1x vanop afstand gefilmd en dan een 3a4 tal rondes er een paar uitgekozen, en zo gemonteerd dat het niet altijd dezelfde waren met een close up. 😊😊😊

Was a fun edition this year. Lots of action and good weather. Nice that the Porsche Carrera cup Benelux was also on the programme this year. Porsche cup races are still one of my favourites.

Definitely worth checking out. Together with the Truck grand prix and the 24 Hours of Zolder definitely an event to come down to Circuit Zolder.

Zolder has a history in F1, but I don't think we should expect that now. Also because Spa is ±1h from Zolder. And they can offer much more. Let's especially hope they keep coming to Spa.

Apparently this had been decided for a while that he would only test, he would ride until after night Practice. They also only registered with 1 driver. Very unfortunate because it was something different from the BMWs and Porsche Caymans.

Honestly, for a moment I thought they were going to stop the race for a while with a red flag. What fell out of the sky again. It was solved with 2h behind the Sc but even then you could see that some drivers were struggling. Was a fun edition this year. But hopefully next year another dry edition.

The GT1s I grew up with 😍 I remember when they came to Zolder in 2008 & 2009. Was back then way too young to come down to Spa. That must have been really cool back then.

Big thanks. Yes you have to be a bit creative sometimes because due to the large crowd during the 6h, some of my favourite film points were occupied. Also i have to say that the point between the trees did turn out super fun. Another viewing point to add to the list. 😁😁😁

Spa-Francorchamps always builds a few extra (temporary) grandstands for F1. This year, they have already built those grandstands for WEC and the 24 Hours. Now during the test day a lot of those temporary grandstands were closed but there were also open ones. The one in speakers corner for example, accessible on foot via Bruxelles/Rivage (only if the gate is open to the public) At WEC it was also open to the public but there was a fence a bit further on. This fence was gone during the test day so you could walk through to Pouhon.

That's possible but I can't 100% confirm that. There were several red flag periods during the first day of testing, though. For instance, I know that the #11 Aston and #100 Mclaren stalled due to technical problems and we had a crash of the #91 Porsche and the #12 Aston Martin. What else happened during the 2nd day of testing I have no knowledge of. Had to go back to work😢

Yes indeed, I think Philip Eng was in the Rowe #98 and came to check if Esteban Muth was okay. He stayed seated for a very long time. Was it because he couldn't get his door open because the marshals really had to wriggle it open or was it a rule of the stewards that he had to stay seated until red was waved and everyone had slowed down. I don't know

Along with Martin and Marciello, Valentino certainly has a chance to win. But there are many contenders 😁

From what I understand there must be at least one car from each team. Looking at the times though it looks like almost all cars are here. I’m not 100% sure about drivers. If you’re a bronze or rookie you would have to be here I assume to be eligible for the race.

According to the live timing, there were 63 participants. And there are 67 registered for the 24h so they were almost all there. For instance, I know that Comtoyou has been training with 3 cars and they will be at the start with 4 also HaasRT and Century motorsport will be with more than 1 car at the start.

So far I know is it the same exhaust system. Maybe the WEC version is louder due to the fact that they are running some sort of different BoP.

The Porsches that run in wec are extremely silenced, the ones in gtwc aka spa 24 hours tend to run with less mufflers so they will be louder
