OK. The way to drink this neat is to first get your lips accustomed to the alcohol burn. Just take a tiny amount and get it on your lips and tongue. Do not swallow yet. Keep it in your mouth and swirl it round. You'll get the "hogo", the over ripe banana funk. When you've done that, you might be ready to swallow it. It is usually drunk when mixed with Ting. Wray and Ting is the thing.

Silver is the best and cheapest, haven't had exta añejo but the others are good. I love whisky, so i thought the others would be better, but they lose the agave flavor because of the oak tannins.

Tried my first can today and it is really good for a session beer. As for taste, some people have different taste buds. Some taste things stronger than others. This does not taste like a mango drink. Think of it like a BlueMoon or Shock Top. But instead of citrus it's mango. Also consider it's a session beer, they are also considered light beers and we all know the one failing light beers have. A lack of flavor. This for me does not suffer that. For my taste buds this is a very good beer. Better than BlueMoon and probably better than Shock Top.

I was in KC last weekend. Saw this one at Gomers Northland. Passed. It’s Redline’s version of Penelope Rio, and I wasn’t a huge fan of the Rio. It was okay; way too sweet. Desserty sweet. I wonder if it would be good with Ginger Ale vs. Sprite.

Dude it’s a 10% and drinks like a 5%. Tastes pretty good too. Considering the comparisons are the nasty Voodoo and Lagunitas concoctions, this is a 10/10.

Just purchased a bottle yesterday and trying it now then thought I'd go see some reviews. I realize everyone's palate is different but I'm very pleased with this. Honey, caramel, and oak on the nose. On the tongue is very dusty and okay with a decent sweet aftertaste on the lips. I paid $21 in the middle of Kansas. I'm very pleased with the "value". Price comparison with flavor. I'd buy it again.
