Great job and impeccable performance Chris! Congratulations! Is there somewhere I can download or buy the PDF so I can play it too?

Thank you! There are a few. Hudson Music did one when Portnoy did his Liquid Drum Theater DVD. The one that came with the app I used for the backing tracks (Crammit), and there are some on this site but I don't know how accurate they are. Even the ones above are not as accurate as I'd like and that's why I was going to make my own-which I still need to do. drumsetsheetmusic.com/collections/the-dance-of-eternity-dream-theater?_pos=1&_psq=dance+of+eternity&_ss=e&_v=1.0

kirk always had this thing of doing sick fills that sounded really good, really smooth, and well linked, they didn't sound overplayed or ugly at all, he was an amazing and underrated drummer, one of the best of the best in metal music

Question: how do you have the bass drum mounted horizontally?
@Deech72Ай бұрын
I just have it lying on a bass drum stand.
@kurtjohnson104221 күн бұрын
@@Deech72 What type of stand do you have? I have a 28" bass drum, and the folding stand I have doesn't get wide enough to lay the drum horizontal without laying on the actual head.
@Deech7221 күн бұрын
@@kurtjohnson1042 I honestly don't know...it's an old metal stand I kind of inherited. The drum is small enough that the rims are still on the stand. I have velcro in 4 spots actually to keep the drum from sliding around when mounting like this. :)

The world is too mediocre and full of itself to honor great artists like Bartok while they are still alive. It is only after the artists have died that the world wakes from its stupefied slumber and begins to appreciate the richness the artists have left behind.
