The wooden bowl, the marks are to do with wood turning. And being held in the lathe.

Hi Claire, so sorry to hear you have been under the weather lately 😢 but pleased to see you are up & about again. This haul is just up my street I love all the wooden & natural decor ❤ I had one of them scrubbing brushes but made the mistake of using it & the wooden part of it went mouldy 😢 so your doing the right thing by not using it & just keeping it as decor. You could always add little wooden beads to the stand by glueing them on the bottom to make it look like a riser 👍🏻 Loving the dimple jug also ❤ Temu does sell a lot of lovely home decor I’m always on the app buying 😂 it’s so addictive & like you say all the delicate finds do come safely packed 👍🏻 Thank you for sharing Take care xxx

You got some lovely bargains Clare. The wooden bowl is lovely. The small holes underneath are for when it was on the wood turning lathe. Where they attach it before carving the wood out to make into the bowl. Love your little cakes behind you. Did you make them?
