It looks as if the size of the log set doesn’t increase as the size of the whole unit increases. That’s a pretty big design flaw. When you have a larger space to fill, you want a fuller look with more logs and a larger fire. The 42 inch model is literally twice the cost of the 26 inch one. For what, some extra metal?

Hi, why did you guys discontinue the glass door option? It was the only reason I was gonna buy this firebox… the weathered concrete is awesome, but it looks fake without the glass door. The glass door blocks the stupid digital numbers that otherwise glow at the top of the firebox, making it even more obvious that it’s not a real fireplace, but some digital heater. You guys should bring back the glass door accessory so that your fireplaces look a little more realistic. Thanks

I wish I knew how to calibrate the temperature display, because it shows the room temperature is like 8-10 degrees higher than it actually is. It used to work great.

I like the possibility of easily moving it from room to room in the event we want supplemental heat elsewhere. Definitely a good buy.*

I bought the connex smart thermostat and i am are having trouble wirelessly connecting it. The video didn’t help because the connex wifi doesn’t show up on my device settings. that explains why you disabled likes and comments. Stop wasting people’s money and time. Cowards

The flame effect is really impressive, as it's ability to heat up a room on it's own.The remote control is handy as well, but I noticed that the batteries will easily come loose inside of the remote if you drop it. That's a small flaw for an otherwise fantastic heater, though.*

I partner this unit with a similar heater and the pair make my unheated, insulated garage comfortable in cold weather when "preheated" for a couple of hours. As far as the blower being noisy, I don't think it is that bad. For me, it's just like a subtle white noise. I recommend this for those looking for a portable electric heater with a fireplace ambience*

dimplex never send me the fireplace and when i call they dont answer i paid 2500 dollars 21 days ago the only email i got from them is the same day i bought the fireplace with a thank you and the next day i got another email that said we shipped it dimplex never send me a track number for about 20 days after i called 100 times left 150 emails non stop calling for weeks i just got an email again from them that said sorry we cant refund your money after i sent and email asking for my money back they horrible but they can fool you the first time you call they talked nice but after you pay they tried you worst than garbage i am sick of calling everyday with absolutely no answer

Can you confirm your model number. If it's DFOP25 please call us at 888-346-7539 for further assistance. If that is not their model number you will have to go through Glen Dimplex as their products do have different replacement part numbers.

Since having this Fire I have had 3 Sump units and again it has gone down the cost of replacing the Sump unit is £180 + Vat inside is a small PC Board so why can Dimplex send a replacement PC board and not the whole sump unit
