Last time I stayed here, I was given Caboose 34. I had the best 3 day vacation of my life. I loved that you could sleep in the cupola and watch the Strasburg trains go by from up there! Are you looking into opening more the caboose’s cupolas as you remodel them?

That looks delicious, but I don't think I could finish it in a half hour lol. More likely, it would be enough pancakes for an entire week. When I went to your motel in 2019, I did have a pancake meal for one of my breakfasts there and they were delicious. I do recommend them! I also had and recommend the Great Northern meal that's on your breakfast menu, which consisted of a waffle, fries and either ham or bacon (I chose bacon when I was there). In fact, about six months after my October 2019 stay at the Red Caboose Motel, I started to make my own version of the Great Northern breakfast meal for breakfast about every other day or so, really gets me energized and a great start to my day! Just like it did that day I had it for the first time at your diner! Thank you for the inspiration! Some food for thought, how about a breakfast meal at your diner similar to the Great Northern (waffle, fries and bacon or ham), but has a pancake instead of a waffle and call it the "New Haven"? That would be a meal that would pay homage to that railroad based on what's included in it and where that railroad served, seems like an easy thing to add on the menu for more variety and to sell more pancakes, in addition to all the other pancake meals you already have on the menu.

We have this caboose reserved for a visit in June. Can't wait to enjoy it!!!

I'm so glad your motel had been renovated and still operating! When our children were young, we would stay there on our visit to "A Day Out With Thomas" at the Strasburg Railroad. Our sons now are in their 20's and still remember staying there.

I L❤ve the cabooses and live a bit over 3 hours away, I am currently going through bile duct cancer spread to my stomach and pancreas. Prayers are appreciated 🙏 and, this beautiful Location, beckons me to come visit ASAP. HUGS and GOD bless you all 🤗

Less than 15 years ago, my family and I slept in the R, F, & P caboose at the Red Caboose Motel in Ronks, Pennsylvania.

That's my favorite caboose! Beautiful Place! Loved it here!

we were sad to see the train layout removed. we loved watching it go around. it was part of our experience every time we visit. hopeful it will be restored and come back. it’s nice to go to a place and feel like it’s about the experience and the enjoyment and entertainment and not just another dime a dozen carbon copy of other spots.
