Works, but not forever. And no, if these jokers were half honest they would not insist it only takes two lazy swipes to turn a seriously blunt knife into a magical sharp one. That only works if the knife was already sharp! It takes a LOT more to sharpen a blunt knife. As for sharpening 'tools', that is total bullfluff. Most likely you will wreck the sharpener, which is why they sell you two.

Excellent… Thanks for this video. I recently inherited one of these from my Dad who never used it, although his one has the name of Martek but it’s exactly the same as this. I’m guessing Martek is the old name? As he must have had it for a number years. Anyway, this instructional video is spot on, as the paper instructions with mine don’t actually tell you how to operate it and you have saved me from having to guess 👍

remember when asking to lunge, swing the rope towards the shoulder, as this is their drive point. If you swing the rope at the hind quarters, you are asking your horse to move only its hind and to face you. This is important to remember because ive seen alot of people make this mistake and blame it on the horse

If your horse is walking behind you like that and spooks, he's going to run you over! It's not about respect in that instant, it's about instinct! He's a prey animal, he's a flight animal, and a big enough scare is gonna get you ran over. He's worried about saving himself. Lol. Not u.

I don’t own a horse, Up until now have little no contact but want to learn basic concepts of release pressure unfortunately horse riding school don’t apply ground work, the schools “ style” is more about controlling you not allowing you to have the freedom to learn from ground up Your horse is beautiful sensitive clear connection I so envy hope one day to mirror thanks for sharing.💐

Do you still have replacement grinding wheels for this tool? Would you post to UK?

I have the Anysharp version of this and also a cheap one from China, they are exactly the same apart from the brand name, most times it takes between 3-6 strokes to sharpen a dull knife blade, after using a cheap low cost knife for a bit, it takes about 1-3 strokes to sharpen up to cut through a ripe tomato, there is a slight knack to how to use it, although they say there is no skill to using it, you get the feel for it after some practice and experimenting, once you have got it my goodness the results are extremely good, I would say excellent, well for cooking etc (not hair shaving) it will get any type of steel blade to cut through a tomato and slice it very thinly with ease, if it does not do this then the item is faulty and take it back to the retailer/shop/store and get a replacement or refund. I have got my entire kitchen drawer full of knifes and the ones on the three magnetic knife holders on the wall all sharp, to the point they will slice through a tomato with ease, in no more time than between 30mins to one hour. I have even put a sharp edge on the back of a single blade knife, it took me about ten minutes from scratch to do that and the knife is now like a dagger, the back of the knife will slice through a tomato like a hot knife through butter. I have tried all sorts of other sharpeners and had no luck, I can not use a stone or steel, however this device is easy to use and it is quick and fast for people that have no knowledge, skill or experience of sharpening knifes/blades. One of the demo guys said he was a butcher for 46 years, and it would take him 30 minutes to an hour to get the same sharp edge on a single knife using a stone, he said this is definitely the easiest way he's ever come across, but that was using the Anysharp version of this sharpener, he too also put a sharp edge from scratch on a drop forged carbon steel trowel in 10 minutes just to prove a point, he then sliced a tomato into very thin slices with ease. Today I have just experimented and put a sharp edge on a cutlery dinner knife in about 3-5 minutes, but it was very dull and had to take off the serrated notches as it was not a smooth knife, would have been quicker on a straight one.

I want to buy, but you need to do better with your video. Edit this video without pausing/cutting out the scrubbing/wiping process, customers should be able to view the entire cleaning process.

That's quite different from how I train natural horsemanship. When a horse walks off we always make them go in a couple tight circles so they realizes that it takes less work just to stand there. It's really effective. I think WarrickShiller does very similar training as I do. A real smart man but boy does he talk sometimes😂

I dont understand why you dont let him be a cuddly horse? Can it be done cuddly and obedient?
@destinationaddictionsamsar78944 жыл бұрын
Yes you can cuddle with your horses and be all lovey dovey but they have to know they can't just run you over. So many horses get pushy because you allow them to be in your space all the time that when they spook or whatever they practly ignore you. I think Rick Gore is very fun guy to watch as he's all lovey dovey with his horses but he also teaches and explains things for use to better understand horses. He has strong opinions but that never drew me away from his teachings😊

Anyone who says this does not work is either stupid or a liar. I have had one for two years and not only have I sharpened every decent knife in the house, I have also sharpened swords and of various types. It is so good, I let a maintenance guy borrow it in my bldg. He kept coming back to use it because he uses his knife a lot, I finally let him take it to the shop where he has his tools and when I need it, I just go pick it up until he asks me to use it again.

Good instructor but poor badly scared horse with markings of ownership on his body. Horses have good memory.
@destinationaddictionsamsar78944 жыл бұрын
It's a freeze brand they hurt as much as a sting. Yes a prey animal will always be scared and those who are not are mentally shut down. Horses are animals that live and forget they don't live in the past they live in the now, they may remember some things but those things can easily be corrected by training.

Why the hell would u call this "natural" when not only there is a whip in her hand but also the halter is not a "natural one"

All along she is allowing this horse to walk all over her. She talks about being close then allows it. The little things turn into big things. He’s responding but not standing still and giving her two eyes. Not feelin it.
