I love the romance with Alistair specially with a Dalish elf in all her dreams she never thought she would ever have feelings for a shem but what makes Alistair unique is hes half elven himself due to his mother being Fiona a Elf xD i love this so much makes me think of Aragorn and Arwen every time, So my reason that makes it easier for her to have feelings for him she can sense something in him familiar to her but she cant explain it sensing his elven blood, I call my Dalish Elf Arwen aswell for nostalgia xD It also helps hes not like any shem shes ever met. I do hope one day he finds out that his mother is still alive and well. Feels fitting His father had a thing for elves to first being Katriel the Orlesian bard and the next being Fiona xD

If anyone is wondering why Alistair's ears are long, it's explained in the Dragon Age the Calling, Alistair's father King Maric slept with an Elven Mage named Fiona who ended up giving birth to Alistair. This makes him a Half Elf, but according to Dragon Age lore, a child born form an Elf and Human aren't considered Half Elves, they're called Elf Blooded. There's also the fact that Elf Blooded people mostly have human features and less elven features, although it is possible for an Elf Blooded to have long ears, but not as long as his/her elven mother/father. The same could be said for a child born from a Dwarf and Human, maybe a child born from a Human and Qunari even though there's barely any Qunari Blooded People in Thedas. Remember Kieran, Morrigan's son? Kieran can be an Elf Blooded if his father is an elf, regardless if he's city or dalish. Kieran can also be Dwarf Blooded if his father is a Dwarven prince or Dwarven criminal.

From what I observed, it seems that the Inquisitor was more interested in Dorian and Cassandra, which made for an inopportune obstacle. So far, I'd say it's rare to find a single protagonist... especially by Bioware standards. This reminded me of my Sera repudiating the male Inquisitor's flirtation because they both had a lot in common in that they liked women. And the fact that she preferred tall, well-built women restricted my choice of race.

Does anyone but me think that the Cousland tale would be amazing all on its own, without the Grey Warden thing? 😅 There is the whole mess with the Blight and Civil War and in all this the noblewoman must find justice and revenge for her family. Warn her brother of the machinations of Howe, making dealings in the Landsmeet and of course fighting through the mess that is the Blight and the Civil War...would be both and amazing game, a movie and a novel. 😁😉

This game should've gotten more development time. There's so many little quality of life improvements that could have been made. Particularly the romantic scenes with a Dwarven and Qunari Inquisitor. They shrink and grow at will, depending on what the scene requires. And even beyond the romantic scenes, they got shafted in the armor department. Qunari, especially. Dwarves at least got the Legion of the Dead and Carta armor.
