Oh, more than 2% are Japanese ! It's Halloween ! Japanese are excluded in this area on regular days except for shop guys (lol). Welcome to Japan !
@MyWalkAround7 күн бұрын
Haha, I'm not sure what you mean? On regular days are there not mamy japanese that go to visit dotonbori?
@zousanda17 күн бұрын
@@MyWalkAround Definitely. This area is full of foreign tourists. Japanese, especially locals, recently go to Uemda (Osaka Station ) area to avoid the crush. When I went Shinsaibashi on a weekday last time, I can hear foreign languages (Chinese, Korean, South-East Asian, English, Germany, and so on) , but not Japanese (maybe a couple of times ?). By the way, if you are drinking at Izakaya (kind of Japanese Bar), talk to the next Asian person. If he is an Osakan, you will become friends. People in Osaka are much more friendly than those in the other areas. I watched another Canadian You tuber 's video where he said " If you move to Tokyo, you will make 5 friends. If you move to Osaka, you will make 500" (lol).
@MyWalkAround7 күн бұрын
Good info thank you! Would you say that if someone was going to move to Japan temporarily, the Umeda area would be the place to go?
@zousanda17 күн бұрын
@@MyWalkAround You are very welcome ! Umeda area is very convenient because it has lots of train stations but house rent is expensive. Dotonbori is also the same. I recommend Tennoji or Abeno area where I live (smile). It is also convenient but house rent is not so expensive. The suburb area is also good to live but if you like to drink, sometimes you might need to rush no to miss the last train at nidnight (lol).

It's pretty spectacular there ! At least you got to see it. If you want to do the hike itself, you have to go there through the Phoenix side. If you go through the Las Vegas side, you can only see it from the top. But you aren't able to hike it as there are no trails to go down.

My buddy had a camel back style water bladder that he was using as he had to test it for his climb in Europe, but I just had a small backpack and was carrying about 3 litres of water and a 750 ml bottle of Gatorade. I also had some electrolyte tablets, and there were a few water fill stations along the route. I think maybe 4? It was a challenge getting back up though!

@MyWalkAround2 ай бұрын
Well this appears to be what the Canadian federal Liberal government wants. Get people addicted, so they can control people. Plus they offer government "safe supply" drugs manufactured by companies that the government pays for,. Howevere there are government people who are "investors" in those companies, so they make a profit off these drug addicts.

@@MyWalkAround Holy smokes I did not know that! I just visited this past weekend and I was stunned by what I saw. Having a major 'atmospheric river,' just another way of saying that there was a ton of rain falling, in the area and flash floods in N.Vancouver did not seem to help with the sense of hope there. The one light I did see is the people who were trying to help those who wanted help and could accept it.

many people do not belong there but it is a easy place to get drug's even though they are illegal, and to sell stolen goods, these people take up prime real estate do not clean up, and the government does nothing, and more and more are coming because it is their little haven and they know nobody can touch them, not fair to those work hard every day and pay taxes, and when the goverment proposes to do anything all the activist's come out of the woodwork, and yet they have no solution, lovely city for tourist's to see, shamefull indeed.

Only have one backpack filled with necessities and only shop enough for a day at a time. It's better than being on the concrete that's for sure! 😢
