I don’t know why they use these plastic type stitches. Mine are still sticking out after two months with no sign of them dissolving! Recap… I’m now getting on for three months post op and my spitting stitches are getting more painful and I have several bumps along the line of the scar. I even had a small infection in one of them which I had to take antibiotics for. My surgeon sort of dug around trying to remove two or three but it’s still bumpy and painful. This scar is along the top of my of my forehead so noticeable as well. It’s really disappointing.
