Sooo far soo good. I did have a small hole bubble up but that is because of my dash shape but pinched a small hole to release all the air and good to go.

The rear bumper is a nightmare. I have a non-turbo so the engine lid was easy.

Yeah the NA lid is much much easier to wrap. I gotta rewrap mine again is horrible

The engine lid is just a learning curve. You will figure it out.

Getting perfect panels is definitely a challenge but you learn as you goz Hats off to you for taking this on with no experience. Keep at it and you will have a nice job at the end.

Those rear OE spats have a different texture, hopefully not an issue adhering the wrap to them, looking good.

You are absolutely correct. They are plastic so definitely gave me issues with adhering. I am gonna paint them with a can of paint then try and rewrap them. Thanks really appreciated.

Wrap coming along nicely. I’m recommending you keep that car 2grfe NA swapped and put a turbo 2gr in the gray mr2. That way you have one of each engine variation.

Thanks man it goes 47.5in without the adapters. They go for 4k brand new. This one i got it from second hand so it was much cheaper.

What up brother! Not bad for the first time.. by any chance you know how to remove the outer window trim on driver and passenger door?..

Remove the inside door panel. Then remove the mirror complety.Then look behind the rubber seals at both ends of the door and you'll see where the "belts" are attached. The one the left is a screw and on the right is a button clip.(The plastic button clip is reuseabe if you can get it out, without damaging it).you will also see 6 or 7 white clips. That is what holds the belt down along the stip. Pry up on one end and use a small standard screwdrive to pry the clips up. be carefull there is a locking piece on the in side of the clip that locks it down. When you get the first one out you'll see what I mean. You also have to pry a bit on the window a to get the furry looking window guides out from behind the window.

The best is subjective> depends on the budget. For a lot of us K series is thrown out the door because it's simply Honda not Toyota. Also a lot of people look at a K series swap as de-valuing the car. I'd do 2GR and then later down the road 2GR turbo all day. But that is a big budget. Look at Kyle he can push the K series but he's on his 10th engine.. I think lol. If you are simply drag racing and don't care about the Honda thing. do K series all day long. People don't understand usable power either.. so your car needs to be setup to use it. I actually have a GEN3, 3sgte that I may use for an AW11 swap that came out of my 93T that's going 5sgte with GEN3 head.. but that build started before the 2GR craze and really the k series stuff was popular or I would have done 2GR turbo.

I agree with you 100 percent!!!!!! Hell yeah man 5sgte in a aw11 broooo that is major power!!!! But yeah 2gr turbo really took off last year so very understandable. The 5sgte has always been my dream build but the 2gr turbo is more feasible in my opinion.

If you can wrap an MR2, you can wrap any car, because take it from me: that rear bumper is just about the hardest thing to wrap that exists. Good luck!
