i used a separate power supply as i wasnt sure if tapping in would effect S1 function. i will soon post on s1cafe website what i used and how i did it.

It was an ikea dioder led set similar to the one in the linked video. It had independent power supply. Attached next to the grouphead by adhering magnetic strips to the leds with sticky tape. Ran for years that way and made it easy to move them out of the way when needed. Leds were still running years after install despite being near constant heat and water. Wires were run behind the stainless plate.

Hi! I am also using La Spaziale S1 Mini Vivaldi. What is the maximum dose for the double shot basket? Can i put 18g in it? I've already tried but the shower screen and the bolt are already touching/indenting the puck, It's kinda deep. Thank you.

What is the cup clearance at the basket, and also where the handle jobs the basket when using the bottomless portafilter? I'm just wondering which mugs would fit without the handle getting in the way. Nice video, thanks for sharing!

Hey man I have the same machine in the black. I have to ask. Where did you get that funnel for the portafilter for the grinding. I have a Eureka grinder and it wants to spill grinds off the side. It’s a mess and a waste of grinds.

seems to access that major component next to it must be removed first. i wanted to inspect the MB but decided to hold off due to that.

This machine may work Ok but from a typography point of view it looks like five people designed the buttons and signals without knowing each other. BTW, I like those lamps!
