Great to hear these tunes, seen them live in Liverpool and bought the album theatre with most of these tracks on .😀

The 1980s. A time when we were free to just make it all up. The diversity in the music was much broader than the commerialised industry gave us. Especially dance orientated music. It urged us to drop out of the negative holding pattern and drop into another zone. I would give anything to go back to about 1982 and get onto it all again. StondHenge.

I remember that protest! Almost, God my hangover was awful, not in a fighting state so full respect to everyone else who took it to plod and drilled a hole in the Westway under a giant skirt. A REALLY giant skirt, very cunning & impressive it was, the motorway took days to repair. Ha!

"Chalice Well" and the stories around it are a modern day 'New Age' touristic INVENTION - a FAKE. It was originally known and recorded as CHALKS well It is near Glastonbury, but not at the Abbey.

@@Nu-Miss-Matic They all sounded the same to me. Fun fact; I walked past Nik Turner just before they played in 1983 and we smiled because we both had the same weird hair cut.

You guys have plenty of stories. I'm not being sarcastic. It's unusual to find such a high number of KZbin comments from people who were actually there. So as far as I can work this out : You had a long walk, it was rainy, lots of people were late, you all got muddy, but the British Movement worked their way to the front throwing mud, so Madness persevered but did leave early?

This is a gem. Thank you soo much for sharing. I went to two concerts in the 90s, at the Treibsand in Lübeck, Germany. The instruments, the sound and the music were awsome! They created a piece of history i will never forget. Five vodkas for the band! I love you!

They talk about these 'rip off' raves as do others like DIY but I have spent £15 for a night at the Eclipse or £20 for an Amnesia event etc etc. No one got ripped, far from it, what are they talking about?
